Adult & Youth MHFA
We offer both Adult and Youth MHFA England accredited courses. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. These can be delivered over 2 full days or 4 half day sessions.
The two-day Youth MHFAider® course is tailored for people who teach, work, live with, support and care for young people aged 8 to 18. This mental health first aid course can be attended by anyone from age 16 upwards. A lot of the education settings we work with have now trained a number of Youth MHFAider®’s to support their colleagues as part of their whole-school/college approach to mental health and wellbeing.
Each and every MHFA course is delivered by a qualified and quality assured instructor and at the end of the course the trainee will be fully qualified as a Youth/Adult MHFAider®.

Refresher
The MHFA Refresher course, which needs to be done every three years to maintain accreditation, reinforces the core learning from the Youth MHFA course.
Renew your skills, update your knowledge of mental health and practice applying the MHFA action plan. You'll also benefit from ongoing membership of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders®.

Champions
Aside from the Full Two-Day Mental Health First Aider Courses, we also offer the One Day - MHFA Champion Courses, to support schools and colleges. This one-day accredited course teaches you how to identify when a person might be experiencing a mental health issue and how to guide them to get the help they need.

Engaging & Impactful Presentation Style
As an experienced MHFA presenter, I’ve trained over 200 staff and pupils, delivering courses across Adult, Youth, and Champion levels. I am confident presenting to large groups, both in-person and online, ensuring every session is interactive, inclusive, and tailored to audience needs. My delivery is underpinned by a deep passion for developing others’ understanding of mental health and breaking down stigma in educational communities. As a presenter I am accredited by 'The Royal Society of Public Health', meaning you can expect a quality assured and consistent training experience.
Deep Subject Knowledge & Educational Insight

My background in PSHE leadership and teaching across GCSE, A Level, and NCEA levels 1–3 (NZ) enables me to bring educational relevance and curriculum alignment to mental health training.
I have created and led robust PSHE programmes embedded in curriculum time, shaped by national guidance and local school needs.
Through my experience as a pastoral leader (Head of Year 12) and working alongside safeguarding teams, I understand the realities and pressures pupils face—insight I bring to every presentation.
I have extensive experience in the UK and New Zealand delivering Health Education to University entrance level.
Evidence-Based, Practice-Informed Delivery

I deliver the internationally accredited MHFA curriculum, which is evidence-based and informed by clinical and lived experience perspectives.
I consistently link training content to real life environments, offering practical applications in the office, for teachers, support staff, sixth formers, and parents - this gives an opportunity to apply national to local influences, bespoke programmes of delivery to meet the needs of the setting and use of relevant data empowering those participants on the course.
My knowledge of school policy, safeguarding, and wellbeing frameworks ensures my sessions are grounded in the latest best practice.
Whole-School / workplace Strategy & Consultancy Skills
My work extends beyond the training room—I support schools through CPD, policy writing, whole-school audits, and consultancy.
I’ve led multi-school PSHE networks, coordinated CPD across a foundation of schools, and facilitated pupil voice initiatives to inform strategic wellbeing priorities.
This systems-level understanding allows me to present in ways that align with wider school improvement plans, safeguarding expectations, and inspection frameworks.
Have led PSHE through inspection rigour with very positive outcomes and feedback
Identification of opportunities for student voice, student led initiatives through experience in previous settings and work previously developed.
Personal Drive & Professional Growth

As a former GB U23 international athlete, I bring discipline, motivation, and the drive to deliver training that is both inspiring and practical.
I regularly seek out ongoing CPD to strengthen my understanding and keep pace with emerging trends in mental health, PSHE, and education policy.
Versatility Across Audiences - My presentations cater to a wide range of stakeholders:
Staff – Supporting MH leads, DSLs, and teaching teams in embedding mental health across school culture.
